Documentation for the PXL detector subsystem DOE OPA Review – July 17 – 18, 2012

 

The documentation described and linked here is intended as the primary documentation set for the review of the PXL detector subsystem.  It is primarily intended as a progress update from the CD-2/3 review held in July 2011 at BNL.

Sensor

We conducted beam tests at the CERN SPS beam test facility to use a beam telescope constructed from Ultimate 1 sensors and measure the efficiency and accidental rates from the sensors. A report detailing our results may be found at:

We constructed two ladder prototypes composed of 10 Ultimate 1 sensors each as a test of the ladder cable design, sensors and readout. A testing report may be found at:
